YOUNG WRITER'S WORKSHOP
"Beyond the Pages"
Who: Students Entering Grades 8th - 12th
When: July 27th-31st
Where: State Historical Museum & Research Center
Cost: $275 (need-based scholarships available)
Students
will join acclaimed author Stephanie Hemphill for a week-long writing
workshop. They will explore the craft of writing using inspiration from
historical artifacts, documents, and photographs. Each day, they will
video chat with professional authors including Candace Fleming, Paul
Fleishman, Marc Aronson, and Deborah Hopkinson.
